Job Description
The Role:
The Vendor Manager role is part of the EU POS Services team, the successful candidate will be responsible for owning and managing the relationship with assigned POS Vendors servicing Elavon Customers across the EU. This includes day-to-day management of vendor performance, conducting monthly service reviews, contract management as well as continuous process& service improvement,
The Vendor Manager will collaboration with various internal and external teams to understand business needs and work with external assigned vendor/s to ensure they consistently meet Elavon requirements.
The Vendor Manager will join a team that is responsible for executing a business strategy for the speedy delivery/frictionless customer experience and operational excellence which will form a key part of the responsibilities.
Role key responsibilities:
Overall responsibility & accountability for assigned POS Vendors,
Monitoring agreed Vendor’s SLA & KPI, oversight of Vendor performance & managing any escalations to resolution,
Conduct monthly vendor service reviews, track operational performance & agree on an action plan,
Management of assigned Vendor contracts, ensuring all Business, Compliance, or/and commercial requirements are appropriately documented
Continuous process improvement - Negotiating and delivering enhanced process and service to our customers,
Planning and managing process change between all stakeholders (internal & external vendors)
Work very closely with different business lines, mainly BD team, Helpdesk & Product.
Role key requirements:
Vendor/supplier management, including Performance management, contract negotiation, and commercial negotiation,
Knowledge of contracts structure & legal languages will be an advantage,
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally,
Fluency in oral and written English. German/Polish language will be an advantage,
MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio),
Strong analytical skills, and attention to detail,
Decision maker and looking to be empowered,
Drive for change - Ability to work on own initiative and follow through to completion with minimum supervision,
Ability to build strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders,
Card acquiring/POS terminals knowledge is advantage – not essential.
