Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Elavon is currently seeking for Credit & Risk Audit Liaison Officer in Europe. The position will be responsible for EMS Credit & Risk Teams within Europe for audits (internal & external) and daily support for Credit & Risk Audit Liaison Manager. Collaboration will be key to ensure compliance with various Anti-Money Laundering laws, regulation, and corporate policies and standards as well as Credit & Risk Policy and Procedures. The position also requires providing subject matter expertise, guidance, and support to the various credit functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Has support of audit liaison responsibilities for AML & Credit & Risk processes
Follow prioritized requirements and plans effectively to meet audit needs within the deadlines
Communicates regularly to the impacted teams about priorities and keeps the team informed of significant updates and feedback
Maintains close cooperation with teams and process managers, escalates matters when applicable
Ensures audit reviews are thoroughly documented, and Credit & AML risks are responded to timely and mitigated where applicable
Provide with support function for health check of control environment and process
Ensure alignment to control environment and process
Provide with support function in resolving gaps and support self-identified issues
Ensure evidence is readily available or easily obtainable for auditors
Managing SharePoint trackers for: audits, issues, control self-assessments
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Excellent oral and written English
Previous audit experience
2+ years financial experience in the compliance, AML, or Credit & Risk disciplines
Comprehensive understanding of Credit & AML regulations
A self-directed and independently motivated individual, who places a high value on organizational skills and maintains strong business acumen
Flexible in dynamic environment and can adapt to situational challenges with ease and fluidity
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills
Proficient computer skills, especially MS Office Package
Ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines to success

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
