Job DescriptionThe US Bank Security Engineering and Architecture team is seeking a talented and motivated SaaS Security Engineer to evaluate, develop, implement and integrate cloud-based services onto the US Bank cloud infrastructure.

Description: Specializes in providing security for cloud-based digital platforms and plays an integral role in protecting an organization's data. This may involve analyzing existing cloud structures and creating new and enhanced security methods.

A SaaS Security Engineer specializes in providing security for cloud-based digital platforms and plays an integral role in protecting an organization's data.

This may be involved in analyzing existing cloud structures and creating new and enhanced security methods.

They often serve as part of a larger team dedicated to cloud-based management and security.

SaaS Security Engineers usually work full-time in an office environment, with some positions requiring personnel to respond to after-hours emergencies.

Other key areas of focus; steady state cloud-based program oversight due to creations and enhancements.

Performing threat simulations to detect possible risks and providing security recommendations on topics like microservices design and /or application development.

The SaaS Security Engineers may instruct other teams on proper coding methods; they may also investigate, create, and recommend innovative technologies or other methods that will enhance the security of cloud-based environments.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science, or equivalent work experience

Five or more year of experience in information security

Two or more years of experience in IT infrastructure management, application architecture, risk management, middleware technology, and IT project management

Preferred Skills/Experience Minimum 5 years of SaaS / Cloud Base engineering, implementation and integration experience

Strong understanding of cloud-based services security engineering within (Azure /O365, Salesforce, Google Cloud and/or AWS)

Strong understanding of CASB services orientation, frameworks and concepts

Understanding of DLP technology and Network Security Infrastructure services

Highly flexible/willing to learn new technologies

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Highly organized with excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
