Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a leader to join U.S. Bank to lead several Finance Functions for U.S. Bank’s Elavon organization. This role will provide the right person the opportunity to leverage a strong team of accounting and finance professionals in the support of several key initiatives for growth and process improvements. The position will report to the Controller of Elavon. Manage the company’s capital and operating spend to maximize financial returns, and to enable the company to invest in initiatives that support its strategic priorities. Assess corporate initiatives in light of downstream investment requirements, establish reporting and analysis to show the potential (and actual) impact of investment decisions, and create and review financial metrics to measure success. Prepare and submit requests for capital expenditure and manage capital expenditure spend through project lifecycles. Provide due diligence feedback on potential business transactions for the Finance organization. Lead integration efforts, in conjunction with Elavon’s Corporate Accounting team, for new businesses. Manage quarterly M&A reporting process for recent acquisitions. Serve as the project manager for Finance and Accounting automation initiatives and systems implementations. Build and maintain effective working relationships with various groups in Elavon, EFS, and U.S. Bank.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience 10 or more years of experience in financial analysis activities
Preferred Skills/Experience: Master's degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent CPA certification or work experience Ten years of accounting or finance experience, with experience managing teams Attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Establish and maintain positive working relationships Capable of effectively managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment Well-developed ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze and interpret data Organize, plan, and prioritize tasks and activities effectively Resourceful and self-motivated Demonstrate logical decision making and utilize sound professional judgment
