Job DescriptionLeads consulting-like projects that drive the assessment, design and delivery of enterprise-wide operational improvements spanning multiple business lines/functions. Builds strong working relationships and collaborates with colleagues at all levels, from senior business leaders to front line staff, and solves challenging and complex business problems across various functions with a broad exposure across U.S. Bank. Gathers and analyzes best practices within and outside U.S. Bank to establish benchmark data and develop recommendations for projects and workstreams. Applies knowledge by managing projects, workstreams and related activities as part of enterprise-wide transformation initiatives while working with business leaders to shape and manage project scope, drive implementation and ensure sustainable outcomes. Provides objective recommendations and knowledge with the aim of creating value, increasing productivity, reducing cost, maximizing growth, and improving business performance. Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes. Creates and manages stakeholder updates, including executive level presentations.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Eight or more years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience - In-depth understanding of business line products and overall strategy - Ability to solve complex problems and engage with different levels of stakeholders - Ability to work independently with minimal guidance - Strong communication and project management skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Previous project management or process improvement experience preferred - Previous banking or financial services experience preferred - Training/certificates in Lean Management System is preferred
