Job Description
The Managing Director, Wealth Strategy (MD) must have deep, multigenerational consultative experience in family advisory including: wealth planning/coordination, family risk management, family governance, stewardship and family education, and trust administration. The MD will work with families as a subject area expert in estate planning, multigenerational planning, family governance, and trust and fiduciary advice. This individual will be a key contributor to the Ascent team in its region/market. The MD is supported by a national advisory team that provides research, technical support, and subject matter expertise.
The successful candidate will need to have proven leadership abilities, executive presence, and communication skills to successfully work with a team that exceeds client service expectations. The individual will be relationship oriented and have evidenced success in forming deep relationships with colleagues and clients as well as developing new client business. U.S. Bank takes a long-term view towards relationships and seeks a like-minded individual to fill this critical role. These client relationship skills will be crucial in developing insight and understanding of the needs, planning, and dynamics of the client family. The incumbent will work with specialists in a dynamic UHNW team/platform that includes: open architecture investment management; estate, tax, trust, and fiduciary services; family governance and education; accounting and reporting; and other subject area experts servicing the needs of the client family.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 7+ years Wealth Planning/Strategy with HNW/UHNW($75MM and above) family clients
Minimum 7+ years Estate/Multigenerational Planning
JD, LLM, CPA (at least JD or CPA)
Trust/Fiduciary knowledge/experience within context of HNW/UHNW
Tax knowledge preferred
Family business experience in planning or consulting preferred
Proven business development and/or client relationship management focus
Leadership experience

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $140,930.00 - $165,800.00 - $182,380.00
