Manages Business Banking Relationship Managers and staff responsible for the selling of assigned bank products and services. Ensures team sales goals are achieved. Oversees and trains Business Banking Relationship Managers, ensuring production goals are met. Develops revenue, volume, and market share objectives for assigned staff and market area. Administers the annual budget for assigned area. Recruits, retains, coaches, and manages performance of assigned Relationship Managers. Works with key partners to develop, communicate and implement the sales strategy to meet/exceed business objectives, and exchange leads/referrals. Maintains and develops profitable relationships with customers and industry associations. Our Business Banking Relationship Managers work with clients and prospects up to $25MM in annual revenue.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years of sales experience in the financial services industry
Four or more years of management experience
Prior experience working with clients & prospects up to $25MM in annual revenue
Prior experience working with C&I as well as D&I clients
Expert knowledge of Business Banking sales and sales strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Agile & experienced management and leadership skills
Established network of COIs
Superior new business development and relationship management skills
Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends
Ability to make critical decisions independently
