Wealth Management Digital – Principal Product Manager, Client/Advisor Collaborative Tools
In this digital product management position, lead a team in the roadmap creation, development and on-going management of online and mobile tools that facilitate collaboration between wealth management clients and advisors. Collaborative tools include document sharing and messaging, financial planning and account aggregation, appointment scheduling, and more. These tools integrate our digital client experience with our advisor and other platforms to facilitate communication and engagement between clients and advisors.
As part of the Wealth Management Digital team, you’ll evaluate online and mobile market trends, understand business needs and user personas, establish business goals, provide input to digital roadmap and product development, recommend enhancements, and implement and manage digital services in support of the business line’s goals and market needs.
Provide industry and business expertise to form vision and roadmap for best-in-class client-advisor collaborative online and mobile capabilities.
Create digital capabilities from initial concept through launch, including conducting competitive reviews, defining capabilities and related processes
Architect the client/advisor digital capability to ensure an optimal end-to-end experience partnering with stakeholders, advisor platform team, user experience, technology, legal/compliance and vendors
As a hands-on leader, leverage data, research, design, technology and business understanding to prioritize requirements and ensure client-advisor collaborative tools provide great end user experiences and impact business results while effectively managing risk
Set specific and measurable objectives, develop key metrics as well as related management reporting to track success towards goals
Actively stay abreast of industry trends and opportunities
Act as a leader and mentor for other digital product managers and agile team members
Present persuasively and authoritatively to peers and senior leadership, while facilitating collaborative conversation
Skills and Experience:
10+ years work experience in financial services, ideally in Wealth Management
5+ years of digital product management experience
Knowledge of advisor platforms and Salesforce a plus
Hands-on experience with product development in an agile environment
Ability to successfully partner with cross-functional teams made up of business line stakeholders, user experience, technology, operations, customer service, risk management, legal/compliance and data teams
Proven collaborator and team player with strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
Strategic thinker and problem-solver with a positive, action-oriented drive
Excellent management, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Outstanding verbal and written communications
Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus
