Job DescriptionU.S. Bank is hiring a UXDesigner to support our core Money Movement products. This team has high energy, a strong vision and they aren’t afraid to dive in. This is a great opportunity to create smart digital experiences that are central to our customers' lives.

As a UXDesigner, you will be responsible for shaping and improving the user experience, considering the impact of typography, layout, color, grid, and motion for optimal customer usability. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of current design trends, experience working in Agile, and a familiarity with web development technology. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of UXDesign experience including low, mid and high-fidelity mockups, as well as, experience with native iOS, Android and responsive web.

Responsibilities include:

Collaborating with partners and UX peers to create world class customer experiences.

Creating accessible UI design mock-ups that leverage brand styles.

Reviewing artifacts and deliverables with peers to ensure they accurately represent the U.S. Bank brand.

Presenting designs to teammates and partners with customer journeys that identify clear goals and outcomes.

Reviewing what's in production to confirm that it's designed to spec and aligned with UX design standards.

Observing user interviews and usability sessions to gather insights into how to improve designs so that they meet customer needs and expectations.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience

5-8 years of related work experience, such as UX or digital industry

Preferred Skills/Experience

6-8 years of experience in UXDesign Visual Interaction Design principles - including creating low, mid and high-fidelity mockups

Experience with native iOS, native Android and responsive web in particular

Thorough knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices, interactive design principles, information architecture and experience architecture

Good knowledge of design thinking processes and framework

Thorough knowledge of website architecture, design principles, web usability, online marketing and business needs

Experience with user-centered design from concept to delivery

Experience designing for responsive web

Familiar with common design software, like Sketch and Figma

Experience working in a cross-channel environment, including desktop/laptop, tablet, and mobile

Experience collaborating with large teams on related projects

Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

Ability to problem-solve and work independently
