As a Senior Product Manager for a Create Team, you will be part of the Interface Platform, responsible for driving reusability and consistency across all of our visual experiences. You will sit at the center of an agile product team supporting the entire enterprise with a specific focus of creating a comprehensive and singular user experience framework for a consistent, reusable, extensible UI system that marries research, information architecture, data, design, and technology to create consistent experiences across all customer and employee touchpoints.You will manage and grow a set of shared common components for use across the enterprise, ensuring it fits the needs for all consumers. Your backlog will push the envelope of the latest design techniques while continuously driving improvement and adoption to completed components.
Managing this capability, will require constant alignment with designers and developers embedded within business-line product, journey, and platform teams to ensure the design system is meeting the evolving needs of our customers.
Key activities: Build and promote our atomic, digital design system (Shield), to continually add and refine components across react web and native mobile channels for a variety of applications Improve UI creation quality & speed, and increase overall adoption across the enterprise Maximize reuse of available components through obsessive tracking of current usage and identification of where opportunities exist Work collaboratively across businesses / functional / platform areas to define, sequence, and execute an enterprise roadmap that maximizes reusability Establish quarterly OKRs that keeps the team focused against a common goal Hands-on product leader who excels at data analysis and customer research to drive discovery and ensure the right problems are identified along with the most fitting solutions. Advocates and embodies customer obsession. Presents persuasively and authoritatively to peers and senior leadership, while facilitating collaborative conversation. Directs people and work efforts across several, simultaneous projects to meet business goals.
Creates value in the Product Management function by: Synthesizing each project’s business goals to set specific, measurable objectives Performs ongoing measurement and reporting of these commitments Consistently delivering work that meets or exceeds commitments Reporting regularly on performance to senior leadership Managing the “brand” of the broader Enterprise Interfaces Platform team and promoting a customer-obsessed culture within the Bank, making the team a source of expertise others seek and want to join Take products from initial concept through user research, co-creation, and rapid prototyping Partner with Agile practice leads to evolve how Agile and Lean management are applied at the Bank Demonstrate thought leadership by integrating analytics, business model, and design thinking to drive innovative new experiences for customers that have a positive impact on business results Motivates and engages team members to achieve peak performance and high job satisfaction
QualificationsBachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience 7 or more years of product management experience 2 or more years working with design systems 2 or more years working in Agile teams
Preferred Skills/Experience Strong product management experience Design background or exposure to design principles Excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills Strong change management skills focus on leading transformational change Experience managing products across REACT websites and native mobile app solutions
