Responsibilities

· Support Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers with customer relationships

· Generate financial models to analyze liquidity, cash flows, trends, margin analysis, etc

· Run profitability models and work with product area to map out a relationship strategy to grow client relationships

· Analyze industry, competitive profile, and business/financial risks for the customer

· Learn the basics of underwriting credit commitments for presentation to credit approvers to support the growth of the business

· Develop knowledge of the technology industry through reading about and discussing industry trends

Basic qualifications

· Pursuing a master’s level degree

Preferredqualifications

· Pursuing a MBA or Master’s Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

· 1-2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related functions

· Experience creating financial models and industry analysis.

· Must be able to think critically and creatively to solve problems

· Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-bank partnership.

· Must be able to work independently and be comfortable with ambiguity.

The internship position for which you’re applying may be placed under U.S. Bank’s subsidiary, Elavon. Elavon is wholly owned by U.S. Bank, the fifth-largest bank in the United States, and provides end-to-end payment processing solutions and services to more than 1.3 million customers in the United States, Europe, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
