Job Description

The Associate, Investments (“Associate”) should have a background in the field of investments, be detail oriented, have a history of quantified achievements, and possess an intrinsic desire to succeed and grow within a high performing team. The Associate works collaboratively with the Managing Directors (MDI), Directors of Investments (DI) and/or Associate Directors of Investments (ADI) to provide operational support and help maintain investment discipline for an open architecture, multi-asset class, fast growing investment business.

At the direction of and under the supervision of the MDI and/or DI, key job functions will include supporting the administrative & operational needs of the investment team and the investment process. Specific tasks could include execute on portfolio monitoring process, manage portfolio compliance, documentation of investment policy statements, producing client deliverables, opening & onboarding new clients & accounts, ownership of subscription and compliance process for private investments, updating/managing spreadsheets used by the team, ongoing performance monitoring, frequent asset-allocation and risk modelling using existing tools, running investment analysis as requested, portfolio implementation, portfolio rebalancing , and one-off projects as needed.

Summary

Responsible for the direct support of the regional front offices with client service support issues. Provides pro-active ad hoc support as needs arise, and provides on-going daily support for standard service maintenance functions. Acts as a project manager for client transition and service issues that may require activities and follow-up over multiple days/weeks. Maintains effective working relationships with Ascent regional and national team members, key functional contacts in extended support organizations, and other support team members.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Three to five years of relevant experience

  • Ability to effectively work with others as part of a high performing team

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fluctuating environment

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $83,980.00 - $98,800.00 - $108,680.00
