Job Description

Responsible for the maintenance of installed infrastructure technologies as well as the installation and configuration of these technologies within a specific area. This may include infrastructure as code, programming, scripting languages, multi-cloud environments, system engineering and software development. Develops design and functional specifications, produces deliverables related to specific projects and assists in post implementation support and system enhancements which may include platforms and systems such as Powermax, Symmetrix, PowerPath, Brocade, SRDF, Pure, Azure, AWS, API, microservices. Responsible for creating on-prem and public cloud systems for communication, sharing, storage and backup of data, including big-data analysis. This role may provision, manage, monitor, and decommission services, including automating provisioning and management of infrastructure in a distributed environment through scripting. May be involved with the configuration and maintenance of physical and logical network components.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Five to six years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Extensive experience in SAN Storage System architecture and Administration

  • Experience in NAS and backup storage (Netapp, ECS, Cohesity, Networker, Data Domain)

  • Must have Platform and Product Experience: EMC Symmetrix, Powerpath, Brocade, SRDF, Pure Storage a plus

  • Subject matter expert in SAN Storage Migrations (Dell to Dell and Dell to Pure) , SAN product incident support, setup, provision and upgrades. Brocade and SRDF support and setup. Pure Storage history and expertise a major plus

  • Proficient in Phython, Ansible, API and scripting languages and Cloud conversion .

  • Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting failures, performance issues and capacity anomalies.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other technical staff

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

** The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days. The office locations are Hopkins or Energy Park St Paul in Minnesota, Portland, Atlanta or .

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
