Our Shared Services team within Global Corporate Trust is comprised of five Production and Support Teams. On the Learning & Development (L&D) team we are looking to fill an opening that will have primary training responsibility for Document Custody Services (DCS) Operations team. The DCS Operations team is comprised of over 300 permanent employees and 175 contract labor employees located throughout nine states. DCS provides safekeeping services of collateral files and documents, performs additional transactional services to support the safekeeping of client documents and ensures all activities are conducted within regulatory, risk mitigation and compliance standards.
Develops training curricula, materials, and programs (including classroom training, online training, and other technologies) to meet specific training/learning solutions needs at U.S. Bank. Consults with business line and corporate partners to develop business line and/or corporate-wide training/learning solutions initiatives designed to support critical business objectives. May also support the integration of acquisitions through the design and delivery of conversion training. Identifies and assesses training/learning solutions needs of assigned clients and designs skills training and other business line and/or corporate wide training/learning solutions programs/initiatives. Evaluates the effectiveness of existing training programs/learning solutions and makes improvements or designs replacements.
Apply proven instructional design theories, practice and methods
Leverage adult learning principles to design and build engaging talent development solutions including live training programs, public presentations, and online courses
Ability to effectively present and facilitate including the use of audio visuals, online, and other technologies
Proficient in deploying and facilitating training curricula, materials, and programs the incumbent has designed/developed
Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of training curricula, materials, and programs in light of business objectives
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Knowledge and understanding of emBTRUST
Knowledge and understanding of document custody
Keep L&D manager informed of all business line priorities, by utilizing and completing the required documentation
Complete all other tasks as assigned
Participate in various business line meetings to partner, create collaboration, transparency and to identify training needs
Partner with leadership and adjust or flexible in priorities, responsibilities and focus based on learning and development projects and support
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Two to four years of instructional design experience
General knowledge of policies, plans, procedures, products and regulatory requirements for assigned business unit
Ability to conduct an analysis of a business need, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas and conferring with business line leaders
Thorough understanding of project management and testing methodology and procedures
Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results
Strong analytical and forecasting skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to work as part of a project team
Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills
Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
