Job DescriptionU.S. Bank Retail Payment Solutions (RPS) is looking for a project manager with a record of success in managing agile software development projects, coordinating projects from requirements gathering through completion, and delivering solutions for reporting systems and workflow applications. Responsible for working across disciplines with partners in Collections, Recovery, Compliance, and various support groups to define and implement reporting and application solutions. Participates in the identification, design, development, and implementation of assigned projects. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs. Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends technical solutions. Coordinates with customers to identify projects and define priorities. Translates project objectives into features and user stories and communicates these to the agile scrum teams. Collaborates with agile scrum teams to ensure the successful requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and delivery of projects. Analyzes and accesses data in SQL server, Oracle, and Netezza databases with SQL queries. Writes and executes SQL queries to address urgent or ad hoc data requests. Participates in training users. Manages performance of the project team and evaluates overall team performance. Provides management reporting on project status. Demonstrates strong analytical skills, focuses on detail, emphasizes problem-solving and root cause analysis, and strives for quality in all documentation and solutions. Presentation of monthly SPRINT plans to management and customers

Basic Qualifications - Master's degree, or equivalent work experience - 10 or more years of experience in project management activities

Preferred Skills/Experience - Comprehensive knowledge of assigned business line or functional area - Demonstrated management and leadership skills - Enjoys working as a leader within a dynamic team environment - Strong organizational and analytical skills - Advanced knowledge of project management - Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data - Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting and problem solving - Demonstrated experience with data analysis and reporting - Demonstrated experience writing queries using SQL - Knowledge of application functionality - Experience with Tableau and similar BI tools - Familiarity with the software development life cycle and agile methodologies - Ability to develop test plans and track test results - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent planning and organizational skills - Computer Skills: Data warehouse & Netezza Tableau SQL programming creating tables, using both SQL Server Management Studio and TOAD SSIS familiarity MS Office Azure DevOps -TFS

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $98,175.00 - $115,500.00 - $127,050.00
