Job DescriptionThis position will develop Syndications Sales strategy and ensure that our Syndications Business Development team executes on sales strategy to optimize revenue for US Bank. In addition to supporting and managing a staff of 8 in business development, this person will meet with CFOs/Treasurers of Fortune 500 companies, work closely with US Bank Heads of Lines of Business, manage relationships with USBCDC Senior BDOs in each asset class, work closely with Director of Investor Strategy on pricing on offerings to investors, coordinate strategy on investors considering multiple asset classes, and work closely with USBCDC finance department to meet the evolving financial needs of US Bank.
Essential Responsibilities: 1.Sustain profitability and growth of unit(s). 2.Provide strategic direction and leadership to pursue objectives of unit(s). 3.Create and maintain cost-effective programs for unit(s). 4.Actively ensure compliance with all US Bancorp policies and procedures such as Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, Etc.
Essential Qualifications: 8+ years of financial experience 3+ years of management experience BA/MBA in finance, accounting, or other related field Well-developed leadership abilities and strategic management skills Knowledge of unit(s) and relation to industry Well-developed verbal and written communication skills Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills. Accountabilities: Decisions are made in conjunction with major corporation programs, plans or strategies. Independent action is normally required although other division or senior managers are usually consulted before final action is taken. Probable errors would have a material effect on major functions of the corporation.
