Job DescriptionThis position will be hybrid (3 days a week in office) once U.S. Bank returns to office. Position is open to remote for candidates not near a U.S. Bank location.

In an ever-changing world, with no exception to Technology and Information Security, it is as important now than ever to be in front of changes and understand the impact that they have on products and services, lines of businesses, entire enterprises, industries and the broader world. This role plays a critical part in accomplishing that mission for the Technology and Operations Services Business Line within U.S. Bank.

As a part of this dynamic and high performing team, you will be responsible for engaging with business partners to understand the nature of ideated or planned changes in order to understand and dimension the nature of the change, translating it into risk, security, and compliance impacts. The nature of changes under assessment may include but are not limited to developing a new solution, implementing a new technology, changing how a material process within the business line operates.

This role is the chance for a professional working in a tactical field to put that knowledge to use at a big picture level. This role will require both critical thinking and analytical skills but also the ability to step back and look at the broader picture of how changes affect the broader risk posture and strategy of the enterprise.

This role will also be a liaison with other first line of defense personnel (Risk Managers, Compliance Managers, QA Teams, etc.) as well as the second line of defense and occasionally internal audit. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Ten or more years of experience in an applicable risk management environment - Applicable certifications

Preferred Skills/Experience - Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business - Considerable understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls - Considerable knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies - Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills - Must possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs - Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills - Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations - Applicable professional certifications preferred

Preferred (not required) Certifications - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) - Certified in Emerging Technology (CET) - Certified in Information Systems Risk and Control (CRISC) - Cloud Provider-Specific Certifications (supplied by Amazon, Google, Microsoft) - Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) - Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) - Other Security/Technology-related certifications

Preferred (not required) Cloud Platform Experience - Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - Microsoft Azure

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $117,385.00 - $138,100.00 - $151,910.00
