Job DescriptionAs a Sr Product Manager with the System of Record Ingestion team, you will partner with system of record technical counterparts, business lines, platform owners, and downstream technical counterparts in support of a centralized data hub to support all enterprise data needs​. AI, MI

Responsibilities: Provides Product and Problem Definition for System of Record Data Product​​

Leads customer interviews to understand and define business and data requirements. Work with Product team to translate business and functional requirements into User Stories with corresponding Acceptance criteria: Interprets and writes complex business functional and non-functional requirements pertaining to multiple systems of record sources and/or master data associated with the design, development, maintenance and integrity of organizational and big data repository. Creates and communicates Product Vision, Roadmap and OKRs​​ Prioritize stories to ensure work focuses on business value in alignment with product strategy. Work closely in a hands-on style with a development team, including addressing daily prioritization needs, providing real-time feedback and answer ongoing questions. Works with product Management to set release dates, determine when sufficient value has been developed to release to market. Partners with Scrum Master to manage product dependencies & cross-team planning. Define Product Metrics and Outcomes for success Communication and change management to clients/customers/stakeholders Creates procedures for developing and maintaining operational, technical and business metadata. Researches data integrity and data quality problems. Provides consulting and guidance to other technical and business teams during requirements gathering and assists in data discovery. Works independently and leads major projects/efforts Understands how work fits into the big picture Anticipates challenges/obstacles and works proactively to remove these. Anticipates needs of product team and works with other team leads to ensure that these are addressed appropriately to ensure product success.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience At least 5 years experience with tools, facilities and techniques for managing and administering data. Experience with product strategy and leading through vision and influence Solid skills in Agile principles, Scrum, Confluence, JIRA

Preferred Skills and Experience

4-6 years of experience in product management, ideally in financial services/insurance Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate and empower teams Ability to develop and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value and prioritization of work Ability to remove barriers and enable team to meet objectives Knowledge of refinement tools (Version 1, JIRA) helpful Ability to navigate the organization quickly and work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills Strong organizational planning, analytical and problem-solving skills Logical data modeling and data warehousing Requirements analysis/Business assessment Functional Design Technical troubleshooting Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries Exposure to querying and BI Tools Mainframe experience, knowledge of COBOL copybooks and TSO
