Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for a team that supports vendor applications that support authentication.

Responsibilities include developing multi-platform converged enterprise engineering solutions targeted to meet existing, enhanced, and new platform solutions for business and infrastructure services. Directs or recommends cross-functional team targeted for system enhancements for system performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity. Evaluates product and service solutions.

*This position requires on-call hours: 24 hours per day for 7 days, every 10-12 weeks

Basic Qualifications

-Associate's degree or equivalent work experience

-At least 5 years experience within a total information technology (IT) environment.

-At least 10 years experience with the design, development and support of technology infrastructure.

Preferred Skills/Experience

-Technical troubleshooting

-Network and internet security

-Data and wide area networks

-Storage operations

Advanced knowledge in:

-Authentication or VPN

-Background in Linux and Windows Platforms

-Configuration management

-Mobile support (iOS or Android)

-Product and vendor evaluation
