Job DescriptionThe Project Manager – Prepaid participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned projects. Assigned projects may be general or systems related in nature. Typically leading anywhere from 5-8 medium to large projects at a time. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs. Participates in training users and evaluating the project. Acts as a project liaison with other departments. Compiles and analyzes information for an assigned project or areas making recommendations based on findings.
More specifically, in this role you will: Facilitate, negotiate, identify risks, and lead implementation of assigned projects
Assigned projects may be general business or systems related in nature and could have interaction with clients
Works in an agile environment
Responsible for creating, managing, and updating project plans for medium to large projects to ensure implementations are on track.
Responsible for subject matter expertise on standard and custom projects
Drives all aspects to ensure that assigned projects are implemented, tested, and operating effectively
Manages performance of the project and evaluates overall project team needs
Serves as a liaison and builds relationships with key project stakeholders among different groups within and outside of the bank.
Projects work may include technical integrations with external clients
Advocating for clients throughout the entire implementation process.
May be responsible for hosting daily, weekly, and monthly status update meetings with the client and representatives from stakeholder groups that are involved in the implementations
Champion project management by coordinating with internal groups as well as the client to ensure timelines are met, issues are communicated, and questions are answered
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Three to five years of experience in project management activities
Preferred Skills/Experience - Thorough knowledge of assigned business line or functional area - Demonstrated management and leadership skills - Strong organizational and analytical skills - Advanced knowledge of project management - Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
