Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for the right leader to join U.S. Bank as a Principal Technology Portfolio Manager for Customer Experience and Marketing. In this role, you will manage the investment portfolio for Customer Experience and Marketing, including our flagship consumer banking applications (Mobile, Online and Voice Banking) as well as our core marketing capabilities. This includes leading a team of 8-10 portfolio managers as they plan future investments, prepare them for strategic investment committee approval, and manage them post-approval.

Responsible for managing the portfolio aligned products by overseeing compliance with all processes and procedures associated with the intake, approval and tracking processes including the business case model, prioritization, approval processes, and reporting requirements throughout the life cycle of a product. Understands key business objectives and strategy of the product, and supports other Portfolio Managers in meeting business objectives, OKRs (objectives and key results), customer needs, KPIs (key performance indicators), and financial targets. Ensures end-to-alignment of the portfolio of business priorities to financial targets by collaborating and relaying dependencies within and across Product Owners in the Portfolio(s). Oversee the development and production of portfolio management reporting to leaders, business partners and teams in collaboration with product owners and managers. Serves as a POC throughout the portfolio management process to ensure decisions are in line with company strategic and financial goals on an ongoing basis, working with cross functional product teams using Agile, Product Management and DevOps best practices.

Responsibilities: Managing the investment roadmap, including aligning business and technology priorities Managing investment financials and resources Managing third party vendor relationships and facilitating the contracts process Ensuring compliance with U.S. Bank processes Collaboration with senior leaders in the Chief Digital Office, Technology Services, Corporate Marketing, Risk, and Finance.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree preferred 10 or more years of portfolio management experience or equivalent experience (program management, product management)

Preferred Experience Leading and driving technology investments (programs) through ideation, sizing (costs and benefits), approval, and management Depth and breadth of expertise in product discipline including agile, product management and DevOps practices and values Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance Ability to communicate with all parties involved in the portfolio of products (programmers, third party vendors, end users, etc.) Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well with team-members and clients Prior work in technology and banking/fintech
