Job Description

The role holder will be responsible for new business sales within a defined business segment within a geographical territory of the Irish Business Market ( SME). The role holder will close referred leads and self-generated business and sell Payment Services and Value Added Services (VAS) to achieve new customer targets and revenues in line with business objectives and sales targets.

Technical

  • Good knowledge of Business systems including Office suite / Use of Technology / CRM systems, Salesforce, etc;

Experience

  • Ideally at least 2-3 years’ experience in financial /merchant services/acquiring sales

  • Good ability to assess a Geographical Area for commercial business and sign up this business for Elavon;

  • Must be able to demonstrate that you can work independently and get the job done, while still be part of a wider team;

  • Proven ability to manage and successfully overachieve on a Sales Target;

  • Broad commercial and financial acumen and awareness of issues involved in negotiating and has ability to negotiate logically and constructively;

  • An influential and highly effective communicator (verbal/non-verbal/written);

  • A willingness to accept change and the ability to maintain effectiveness in a changing environment;

  • Interested in learning about the Elavon business and has a general ‘can-do’ attitude;

Qualifications

  • Home based but aligned to a geographical area which the job holder should ideally be able to reach within a maximum of 1-3 hours’ travel by car during contractual working hours.

  • Mainly Ireland travel with overnight stays as and when required;

  • Leaving Certificate as standard – degree would be an advantage;

  • Full Clean Drivers License.
