What is the purpose of this role?

  • This is a sales role that is directly aligned to our Bank Partner in the UK

Direct line reporting:

  • Head of Corporate Sales and Relationship Management

Fitness & Probity

This role is a ‘controlled function’ CF4 under the Central Bank of Ireland's Individual Accountability Framework Act 2023.

Accountabilities for your role - what are you expected to do?

  1. To sell Elavon products and services to customers referred by the Bank Partner or Self Generated opportunities

  2. Collaborate and build relationships within the Bank Partner at Senior Level

  3. Support RM teams as needed on new opportunities identified within the managed Corporate portfolio

  4. Build and maintain a strong Pipeline of Corporate sized opportunities

  5. Achieve an annual sales target

Technical Competencies for your Role - what are you expected to know?

  1. Understanding of the Payments sector in the UK or demonstrate transferable skills from a similar industry

  2. Track record of Corporate Level, Consultative Sales success over multiple years

  3. Consistently achieving against sales targets

  4. Sales Pipeline Management, ensuring focus on major deals and driving these to a close

  5. Understanding and previous experience of working to a Sales Methodology, applying these skills to close large Corporate opportunities

  6. Ability to build rapport and productive relationship at Exec Level across different organizations

  7. Previous experience of using a CRM such as Salesforce

  8. Strong presentation skills to ensure you present with impact

  9. Determination to succeed and deliver year on year results against plan

Qualifications Required to perform your Role?
