Manages a sales staff responsible for receiving incoming calls and providing basic customer service with the objective of extending contact to sell new or additional bank products and/or services, generally for an assigned geographic region or industry segment. Ensures that assigned sales area is adequately staffed by forecasting work volume and staffing needs for the functions performed. Oversees training and provides daily supervision to assigned staff. Achieves sales and budget goals and marketing strategies for the products/services sold. Builds and maintains relationships with customers and ensures prompt and efficient service and processing of transactions, correspondence, documentation, etc. to provide maximum customer service. Ensures compliance to applicable internal policies and procedures; responds to internal audits and certifications. Participates in the development and enhancement of equipment and training procedures and programs that support products and services.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record, may result in a rescission of your offer or termination of employment.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Two to three years of sales experience in the financial services industry
Advanced knowledge of sales and sales strategies
Thorough knowledge of operational functions, systems, procedures, various products and/or services supported by the assigned area(s)
Basic knowledge of applicable Federal and State laws and regulations
Good organizational and project management skills
Well-developed customer relations skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Strong supervisory/management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Well-developed knowledge of banking operations and human resources
Schedule Monday- Friday 12:00 - 9:00 PM CST
Rotating Saturdays (1-2 month)
