Job DescriptionAbout the team

U.S. Bank is looking for a Technical Portfolio Manager to join a team of TPMs who support our Digital Banking and Technology Services Strategic Initiatives. This team provides portfolio analytics support for the organization and helps to build out the new product structure moving forward.

What You'll do

Technology Top Programs: Maintaining and modifying Top Programs status (and corresponding data) including providing support for key Executive Management routines such as MBR, EITGC, OCC and other senior management routines. This tracking is utilized to provide operational and risk support of the $1B+ Tech Services portfolio in alignment with regulatory controls. Evolution of programs to product is underway and this role will be responsible for partnering across organizations to provide a seamless transition relative to Top Program reporting.

Strategic Investment Committee Process: Maintaining and providing operational support for the monthly SIC process including identifying areas for automation and driving those ideas to completion.

Technology Product Catalog/Product Model Optimization: Maintaining and modifying the technology product catalog in alignment with the risk / business product catalog for TOS in partnership with the agile ways of working team in the CDO. This official version of the catalog will also track persistent teams of people and provides the ability to tie to other data sets on funding, costs, work and intake of priorities to teams. It can also be used to track technologies mapped to products, i.e. CAR IDs, find duplication and efficiency opportunities, manage legacy technology and debt, find related teams and products that may be able to combine efforts, track role mix ratios by product and find efficiency opportunities there as well.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience Five to eight years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

In-depth knowledge of product discipline Experience automating processes and analyzing data Agile background preferred Hands on knowledge and experience with agile, product, and DevOps theories, principles and practices Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance Ability to communicate with all parties involved in the portfolio of products (executives, programmers, third party vendors, end users, etc.) Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well with team-members and end user clients
