Job DescriptionU.S. Bank is looking for a .NET Core Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Financial Crimes Technology team. This role supports technology that is enterprise critical and highly visible within U.S. Bank. This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of high quality software. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate within a team and across the organization and takes responsibility of software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. Candidate must be skilled with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.

Essential Responsibilities: Contributes to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Uses a growth mindset to meet current and future challenges.

Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise level software.

Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready code that is tested with automation in mind.

Consistently creates optimal design by adhering to architectural best practices.

Makes sound design and coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront.

Participates in code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures.

Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices.

Exhibits relentless focus in software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards.

Embraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank's technology transformation.

Reviews tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery. Anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalation.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Three to five years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience 6+ years of relevant software development experience

Proven communication and interpersonal skills that build team cohesion

Uses strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot problems and remove blockers

Demonstrated ability to communicate with all parties involved in the product team and product community

8+ years experience in .NET/.NET Core/C# and web-based services

8+ years experience with SQL Server relational databases

5+ years of experience in highly available critical enterprise applications using Entity Frameworks, Design Patterns, Kafka Streaming, Webservices, and SQL Server.

5+ Experience working in a DevOps environment (Git/GitHub, Jenkins CI/CD Pipelines, Kubernetes)

3+ years of ReactJS and Micro front end architecture
