Job DescriptionU.S. Bank is seeking an accomplished data focused individual with data management experience to contribute toward the success of our risk management initiatives. Manages the design, upkeep, and integrity of the risk technology data roadmap. Partners with business professionals to maintain and oversee an effective risk management data framework. Provides leadership and direction for the structure, integrity, and maintenance of risk data. Supports initiatives focused on our team's capabilities around data discovery, enrichment, quality, analytics, and management. Ensures important data needs are anticipated and met. This position relies on the individual to be a self-starter and quick learner, to have a futurist mindset, and to be able to innovate and report on tasks and status proactively.

Job responsibilities Create and drive a data roadmap for effective management across risk disciplines
Perform data lineage analysis for risk and compliance processes and infrastructure
Define data lineage approach and obtain buy-in from stakeholders
Create and manage adoption plans and data lineage maturity
Work with risk and technical leaders on enterprise data topics to ensure alignment with risk strategies and initiatives
Ensure regulatory, compliance, and other external requirements related to data standards
Develop source to target mappings, data flow diagrams, system context diagrams
Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that overall deliveries are meeting expectations
Collaborate with engineers, product managers and risk professionals to understand data needs
Optimize pipelines, dashboards, and frameworks to facilitate the development of data artifacts
Influence product and cross-functional teams to identify data opportunities to drive impact
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 7 years of experience with tools and techniques for managing and administering data
Preferred Skills/Experience Advanced knowledge of data governance, data architecture and data management concepts
Knowledge of Risk, Compliance, and Audit competencies
Ability to research and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills
Strong leadership and management skills
Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
Experience working in a highly regulated environment with knowledge of risk and governance programs, regulations and financial services is a plus
