U.S. Bank’s Corporate Payments and Treasury Solutions division is an industry-leading provider of commercial payments solutions in the United States. We are looking for a top-performing Credit Portfolio Manager to join our corporate payments team. This role will partner with their counterparts in other business units to jointly expand customer relationships and grow bank revenue while minimizing risk. Specific responsibilities for this role include:
Managing a portfolio of commercial credit customers in our Corporate Payments and Treasury Solutions business line to maintain strong credit quality and minimize losses
Reviewing client needs and making recommendations on credit line amounts and terms
Collaborating with other U.S. Bank commercial lending teams on credit approvals, credit line management, and risk management activities
Evaluating customer monitoring reports and making recommendations on action plans based on risk
Participating on calls with other lending divisions and customers to obtain information and communicate credit decisions
Conduct specialized analyses and prepares specialized reports on loan quality/portfolio quality and makes recommendations to management.
Approving credit displays prepared by other lending units
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting), or equivalent work experience
Three to five years of commercial banking or relevant experience
Self-motivated individual with strong time management skills
Commercial credit or other relevant experience
Strong knowledge of commercial financial statement spreading and credit underwriting
Effective time management skills and ability to apply business line policies and procedures
Ability to work effectively across the company to manage shared customer relationships
Well-developed written communication and verbal presentation skills
