Job Description

U.S. Bank is currently seeking a Relationship Manager to join our team and support the business growth for our Corporate Banking customers in the Healthcare, Higher Education and Nonprofit sectors.

This position will be located in one of the following office locations: Los Angeles, La Jolla, San Diego, San Francisco, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Seattle or Portland. We offer a hybrid work arrangement. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

As a member of our team, you will manage relationships with Corporate Banking customers and support revenue growth to market U.S. Bank’s products and identify cross-sell opportunities as directed by senior management. This includes successfully prospecting for new business as well as retaining and expanding existing customer relationships. You will leverage your subject matter expertise and business advisory skills to manage the most complex financial products and services along with client/customer relationships. You will be accountable for overall client satisfaction and provide a high touch, customer-centric experience by proactively sharing market updates, trends, and industry intelligence.

Additionally, at this level, it is expected that you proactively provide support and direction to the Analysts and RM team members as well as other internal business partners as may be necessary.

Approximately 25% travel can be expected.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of corporate or commercial banking experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • M.B.A./Master’s degree

  • Strong relationship management and business development/sales skills

  • Proven track record of prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships and closing profitable transactions

  • Corporate lending experience and knowledge of credit/credit quality

  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Broad knowledge of bank products and services

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $131,240.00 - $154,400.00 - $169,840.00
