Job Description

Manages the administration of Fund Custody accounts of various sizes with a high level of expertise consistent with governing document requirements, regulatory guidelines and policies and procedures. Serves as one of the client's primary contacts, delivering a high level of customer service. Manages daily account administration with focus on daily and future cash positions. Creates and delivers reporting documents to external customers within established timeframes. Prepares and develops reports for management. Responds to inquiries and coordinates resolution regarding securities issues from internal and external customers, management, internal and external auditors, and regulatory authorities. Adheres to strict business line Service Level Agreements. Will focus on the support of clients who hold bank loan positions using the CDO Suite application. Responsibilities include: settles bank loan trades, books cash inflows/outflows to the portfolio, tracks asset attributes such as accrual information, rating, industry codes, etc., provides reports to the clients on a daily basis, and assists internal groups with reporting. Ensures 100% accuracy and timeliness of data through proper booking and reconciliation of account activity.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Five or more years of experience in securities operations, accounting, trade processing, customer service activities and in collateral portfolios and/or mutual funds

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Thorough knowledge of trust and securities operational functions, systems, procedures, various products and/or services supported by the assigned area(s)

  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory and accounting principles

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and meet established deadlines in a dynamic team work environment

  • Strong customer relations, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

  • Basic knowledge of Wallstreet Office, SEI, and CDO Suite preferred
