Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Escrow Analysis team as an Escrow Specialist. This Escrow Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that mortgage account are funded sufficiently to cover both taxes and insurance payments. This successful candidate will be tasked with performing research, analysis, and assessments to guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of disclosures and statements for mortgage escrow accounts.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct regular reviews and analyses of customer escrow accounts to ensure compliance with Regulation X of RESPA.
Perform research and assessments, partnering with applicable departments, related to real estate taxes, insurance premiums, and private mortgage insurance payments.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for accurate escrow account analysis.
Manage and monitor customer escrow accounts to guarantee timely and accurate disclosures/statements.
Assist in the calculation and management of escrow cushions in accordance with state laws.
Handle the resolution of discrepancies and inquiries related to escrow accounts promptly. Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders regarding escrow-related matters.
Stay updated on internal procedures, state/federal regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure accurate and lawful escrow practices.
Collaborate with peers/leadership on the Escrow Analysis team and throughout CBB to implement process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Four or more years of experience in business and general office environment
Preferred Skills/Experience
Prior experience in Escrow Administration, mortgage servicing, or related roles.
Strong understanding of mortgage escrow practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy per procedural requirements, state and federal guidelines, and compliance requirements.
Proficient in using Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP) and Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel.
Effective communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with state laws governing escrow cushions and related regulations.
Location
This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.65 - $26.02
