Job Description


Directs and monitors specific risk programs for the assigned business line Participates in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Identifies gaps and inform solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. Participates in meetings and task force activities to identify project goals, gains consensus on project steps, schedule and implementation procedures and estimates project costs; fosters cooperation and involvement from support team.

Identifies the required resources across the business to ensure successful project completion. Prepares ongoing status reports, dashboards and/or decks outlining progress, risks & mitigating factors Assists with or prepares project implementation/remediation steps and documentation as appropriate; ensures a smooth implementation of project; resolves problems. Participates in educating the assigned business line teams on best practices for specific risk programs. Ensures proper cross-departmental engagement in issues/errors raising and resolution, which are assigned to the Business Line Identifies, responds and/or escalates risks as appropriate. Serves as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Second & Third Lines of Defense


  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Two - three years of applicable experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies

  • Dynamic self-starter, results driven who will thrive and function with a high degree of autonomy and demonstrate an ability to be extremely versatile.

  • The jobholder will need to carry personal gravitas and be an excellent communicator who is able to influence an Executive audience of decision makers in-order to create buy-in to ideas.

  • Blend of persistence, commitment, passion and optimism

  • Both agile & collaborative in their approach to business problems


  • Understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls

  • Knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies

  • Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills

  • Customer Centric with strong business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
