U.S. Bank Shipping & Receiving Clerk 1 - Oshkosh, WI (33 hrs) in OSHKOSH, Wisconsin

Responsible for performing tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, and management of materials, supplies and equipment. Receives and prepares incoming materials for input into inventory. Verifies the quantity and condition of materials. Loads/unloads boxes, pallets, etc. onto truck for delivery. Prepares records of goods shipped and received, maintains accurate inventory count and resolves discrepancies via appropriate computer program. Sorts and places materials on rack or shelves according to predetermined sequence. Assists in performing physical inventory to ensure adequate stocking levels. May call vendors or suppliers for quotes and estimated delivery schedules. Utilizes appropriate method of identification for labeling materials; i.e. bar codes. Issues purchase orders for material purchases. May prepare parcels for mailing or pallets for outbound shipping. Maintains a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse and work area, which may include basic janitorial duties. Able to accommodate rushed and established Service Level Agreements (SLA).


Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Zero to one year of related experience

  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds

  • Must possess appropriate state driver's license

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Ability to understand basic instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form

  • Basic reading, writing, and organizational skills

  • Computer experience in Word and Excel preferred

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • May be required to pass fork-lift certification test
