Responsible for activities related to deposit account disputes and data furnishing. This role will play an integral part in ensuring compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). This individual will need to investigate and provide a recommended resolution to consumer report disputes. Additionally, this individual will need to work to validate data contributed to the National Specialty Consumer Reporting Agencies (NSCRAs). Data validation involves critical analysis and interpretation of data relative to system information and transmission files. Finally, this individual may participate and assist management in the remediation of any identified problems or issues. Candidates would preferably have knowledge of FCRA requirements, a strong understanding of deposit accounts and a familiarity with reporting of accounts to a NSCRA.
Highschool diploma, or equivalent work experience
Basic administrative skills including reading, writing and mathematical skills required.
Ability to develop comprehensive knowledge of the applicable operational area, the product and services, applicable laws and regulations, and an understanding of applicable system(s) functionality
Demonstrated administrative skills and acute attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collect and organize information
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
Proficient PC skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
Excellent organizational skills and be adaptable to change
Related experience, knowledge of banking industry or financial products and the Fair Credit Reporting Act
