Job Description


The Product Owner Manager has oversight responsibilities for Product Owners and Project Analysts and Testers supporting both Agile Scrum and KanBan methodologies. The product and operational support responsibilities for this position include ACH as well as expansion into other products such as Exceptions/Returns and Adjustments/Claims. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader, confident decision-maker, helping team members develop and be productive, while focusing on delivering value.


Accomplishes results through the management of exempt-level professional staff creating a culture of continuous improvement for staff development. Co-collaborate the vision and direction with business and technology partners with focus on delivering value to our customers. Effectively manage resources across teams, assess the health of the teams, remove organizational impediments and allow for failure. Understand team dynamics and strengths and motivating continuous value delivered. Responsible for performance measurements and provides feedback to the team and individuals. Administers corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsible for recruitment, training, development of team members. Prepares and presents updates, status etc. to management. Oversee team development, training. Maintains budget responsibilities, evaluates and improves operations.


  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of operations-related experience


  • 5-10 years in management position, proven experience with emphasis on inspiring, motivating and guiding team members in an Agile (Scrum and KanBan) environment

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to maintain positive relationships with Operations teams, Product Managers and Technology Teams.

  • Ability to lead a team and collaborate with peers to achieve greater results

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/initiatives and deadlines simultaneously

  • Well developed problem-solving and negotiation skills

-Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to manage diverse skills, backgrounds and personalities in a virtual environment

  • Superior knowledge of product or operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for the assigned area

  • In-depth understanding and practical application of applicable laws and regulations including NACHA

  • Excellent organizational, managerial and project management skills

  • Well-developed customer relations skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Thorough knowledge of banking operations and human resources

  • AAP Certification

  • Product Owner or Scrum Master certification

  • Agile Mindset

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft

  • Office applications and the ability to coach others especially in a remote environment

  • Ability to learn and identify an opportunity to improve product or operational functions

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $112,880.00 - $132,800.00 - $146,080.00
