Job Description This leader will partner with Global Treasury Management (GTM) Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Treasury Management Consultants (TMCs) in an effort to ensure the successful migration/conversion of impacted clients. Manages the team of Transition Project Analysts and drives client partnership that result in execution of the migration/conversion plans in an effort to transition clients as scheduled.
This leader will partner with GTM, Corporate & Commercial Banking (CCB) Technical Operations Services (TOS) and other U.S. Bank partners to keep technical aspects of conversions/transitions and de-conversion on track.
Supports GTM Sales and keeps them abreast of any/all project impediments. Ensures all relational aspects of the project are managed in a timely manner
Ensures the timely escalation and resolution of all client issues specific to migrations/conversions etc.
Ensures the coordination of de-conversion/conversion day activities, may require command center coordination/ownership
If necessary, ensures the coordinates applicable file/transmission testing exercises with vendors (strategic)
Ensures the necessary oversight of connection points between USB and new client solution providers
Partners with TMCs, Relationship Management and Implementation to ensure clients and vendors have what is needed to transition services by desired service end dates
Ensures the team’s ownership of the process of managing USB’s compliance with all standard contractual elements where applicable
Ensures the team’s management of assigned portfolio of clients through the completion of the migration and conversion related initiatives in that the team members: Serve as the focal point for assigned book of clients throughout the migration/conversion/transition phases of projects and programs
Conduct focus driven meetings with clients to keep them moving through the process – is available to meet with client and as requested. Travel may be required in some cases
Ensure all data management responsibilities and updates all tracking databases to ensure all client transition activities are tracked and reported in a timely and accurate manner
Manages the reporting of client migration process and escalates potential problems, issues, concerns
Own the qualitative experience for clients impacted by conversions/ migrations etc.
Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years of experience in project management activities
Preferred Skills and Experience
4 to 5 years' leadership experience
3 to 5 years’ experience in Treasury Services - supporting treasury management products and services
Effective written and verbal communications skills – strong grammatical expertise
Experience in roles with accountability for the service/support side of the relationship
Experience in roles with accountability for client satisfaction/quality indices
Ability to lead client discussions and effectively serve as a liaison between the client and a potential 3rd party provider of Retail Lockbox services
