Job Description

Impact Finance NMH Director of Asset Management

Responsible for management and monitoring of a portfolio of credit quality and performance of a variety of tax credit equity investments to provide greatest recovery to investors and superior service to borrowers, while ensuring compliance with government regulations, and/or company policy.

Monitors portfolio performance through review of watch list, delinquency, and maturing loan reports, as well as assigned risk rating classifications compiled and managed by the asset management group. Ensures collection of property and financial statements, the input of such information into system(s) of record, assignment of risk ratings, and the monitoring of financial covenants.

Portfolio consists of tax credit equity and/or debt investments made through U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance. Investments include New Market Tax Credit and Historic Tax Credits which provide tax, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) or Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG) benefits to the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Typically Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically 10 or more years of related experience

  • Typically three or more years of management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Thorough understanding of tax credit investment management

  • Strong knowledge of construction finance, real estate property management, and accounting, with experience interpreting legal documentation and requirements

  • General real estate development background preferred

  • Knowledge of LIHTC, RTC, HTC and/or NMTC preferred

  • Strong relationship management abilities

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Considerable tact and people skills

  • Master's degree and/or CPA preferred

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $135,660.00 - $159,600.00 - $175,560.00
