Job DescriptionThe Integration Portfolio Manager will lead and coordinate the integration of Online / Mobile banking between U.S. Bank and MUFG (“Union Bank”). The Integration Portfolio Manager will lead the strategy and day to day execution of the digital integration while guiding and developing team members, collaborating with the central Integration Management Office and relevant partners (e.g., Corporate Communications, TOS, Risk). This includes orchestration of Discovery, Integration Planning, and Conversion execution – from scoping to roadmap development, risk / issue identification and remediation, to detailed conversion planning. The Integration Portfolio Manager is responsible for directing the team and relevant experts to ensure the right content is considered and the correct integration choices are made understanding the nuance and complexity of our digital landscape. This is no “business as usual” role. To succeed, we need someone who is a high-energy, adaptive problem solver that understands digital. The candidate need not be an expert in our specific digital properties or integration, but should be familiar with integration best practices and have a proactive, problem-solving mindset. A key success factor will be proactive collaboration with other Integration Team Leaders to influence their priorities and ensure connectivity (including solving for “not my area” type of issues). The candidate is not responsible for completing the template, but rather asking “what should the template be asking” – this is obviously inappropriate language but maybe you can take a stab? The candidate will be an established collaborator and seasoned operator with, with a proven track record of driving successful transformations at large and matrixed organizations, while making sure that colleagues are support and energized to keep them focused on business priorities. Key activities include: · Serve as Integration Team Lead for online / mobile banking in conversion · Orchestrate and coordinate the adaptation of Integration Management deliverables into a workable integration plan that goes “beyond the basics” to ensure a successful merger · Direct team to develop actionable integration plans and lead through conversion execution · Engage senior digital leaders to ensure alignment, and appropriately raise and solution issues · Support an environment that motivates and promotes high engagement and collaboration to achieve objectives
Basic Qualifications · Master's degree, or equivalent work experience · 10 or more years of experience in project management activities
Preferred Skills/Experience · Two or more years operating in an agile environment · Two or more years of digital / technology work experience · Two or more years of managerial experience · Demonstrated success with merger integration · Experience leading change in an Agile environment · Excellent tactical implementation and planning including business understanding of how digital activity flows through to key performance indicators · Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills Excel and PowerPoint skills required · Ability to optimize across online and mobile including funnel management, testing for .com pages creative, approval process and funding optimization · Proven business transformer with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and influence decision makers
