Job DescriptionU.S. Bank is currently seeking a Content Strategist, who will have a good understanding of SEO and will partner with UX team members to identify and meet the content demands for various projects. Additional responsibilities include: • Applies and updates existing content strategies to accommodate new products and campaigns, validating that content is correctly and accurately implemented across the digital platforms; • Writes, edits, applies SEO strategies, and implements content based on the U.S. Bank content strategy, including voice, tone, and customer- and business-centric site goal; • Works in a cross-channel environment on content strategy for desktop/laptop and mobile devices; • Understands SEO and can provide and implement recommendations based on research; • Collaborates with product marketing, business lines, and UX to create world-class customer experiences; • Provides professional-quality SEO optimized content strategy for secure online/mobile banking interfaces, responsive websites, mobile apps, online lead/application forms, marketing pages, and other cross-channel websites; • Analyzes and understands end-to-end customer experiences to ensure all content is consistent in voice/tone/construction and technically correct; • Collaborates and partners with other U.S. Bank content creators/strategists as appropriate to ensure consistent tone of voice and messaging for customers; • Assists in gathering requirements and assesses content needs of a given project; and • Works with development, UX, and other internal team members on project implementation and launch activities, including stand-up meetings, defect resolution, and acceptance testing.

Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience • Five or more years of content strategy experience, with at least 10 years of experience in the financial industry preferred

Preferred Skills/Experience • Strong understanding of the principles of content strategy with a clear understanding of information architecture, SEO research and implementation, interactive design principles, and web usability • Ability to write user-centered SEO optimized content from concept to delivery without supervision • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization • Significant experience writing a variety of digital content for instructional, transactional, and marketing experiences • Experience with data collection and quantitative analysis • Ability to meet ambitious deadlines and delivering high quality work on schedule, including quickly turning around plans and reports

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $92,735.00 - $109,100.00 - $120,010.00
