Job Description

Directly sells Treasury Management services to prospective business clients. Receives sales leads from U.S. Bank partners and direct calls from potential customers. Understands customer’s business needs through discovery conversations, explains Treasury Management services offered by U.S. Bank, recommends services which benefit the client, executes paperwork to implement services, and onboards customers with new service. Position has heavy exposure to other customer-facing positions within U.S. Bank and leads must be responded to in a timely manner. Accountable to fee-income-based goals. Uses a variety of digital platforms for lead tracking, information gathering, product implementation and troubleshooting. Participates in feedback, piloting, and deploying new Treasury Management services and continuous improvement of existing services.Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Four or more years of sales experience, preferably in phone sales environment

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of retail financial products and services, rates, terms, fees and regulations

  • Excellent selling and referral skills

  • Proficient keyboard, 10-key, and computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages

  • Thorough knowledge of systems and procedures

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Proven commitment to high quality customer service

  • Strong time management skills to maximize the number of clients that can be assisted while maintaining a high level of customer service

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills

  • May be required to obtain specific licenses for the sale of insurance, investment or other licensed products
