Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a ServiceNow Developer with extensive technical background and demonstrated competence to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives and to support enterprise adherence to information security controls and industry best practices by participating in various initiatives to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our information systems. The candidate will contribute towards the success of implementing, enhancing and maintaining the ServiceNow Security Operations application suite. Individual must have extensive ServiceNow development experience and be an independent, innovative, self-starting team player and have the ability to perform in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

The candidate will have a broad understanding of security controls and can collaborate across organizations to achieve mutual goals. Reviews, develops, tests, and implements security plans, products, and control techniques and provides implementation support for ServiceNow Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance modules.

Will provide technical expertise in development and support of all activities, processes, and tools for protecting technology-based information. Provides technical support to clients, users and management. Participate in the review, development, testing, and implementation of security solutions within ServiceNow. Evaluates new and proposed security systems and technologies.

The ServiceNow Developer will be primarily responsible for supporting the Threat Awareness & Application Security (https://usbank.sharepoint.com/teams/InformationSecurityServices/ThreatAwarenessApplicationSecurity%28TAAS%2920220405022603) automation team and workflow solutions utilizing ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) in order to help simplify and streamline the organization’s technical vulnerabilities and baseline compliance programs.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Development and maintenance of ServiceNow Security Operation modules

  • Supporting ServiceNow developers and engineers

  • Configure out of the box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows

  • Create integrations utilizing Integration Hub where possible

  • Actively participant in regular scrum and requirement grooming sessions

  • Rapidly prototype new solutions

  • Peer review team’s code

  • Working with ServiceNow users to understand application requirements and crafting enhancements

  • Provide improvement opportunities

  • Providing recommendation to leadership on program enhancements and strategic direction

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • At least seven years of experience with the processes, tools, techniques and practices for assuring adherence to quality standards associated with developing, enhancing and operationalizing application systems and databases

  • ServiceNow Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

Experience Should Include

  • 3+ years experience working with and/or configuring ServiceNow with specific expertise with the Vulnerability Response and Configuration Compliance Modules

  • 3+ years experience development with JavaScript

  • 3+ years experience working in an environment with regulatory and compliance requirements for information security

  • 3+ years experience in process development and documentation

  • 3+ years working in an Agile especially Scrum

  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Demonstrated professional verbal and writing skills

  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences and stakeholders

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, technical resources, and auditors

This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $102,340.00 - $120,400.00 - $132,440.00
