Job DescriptionEnterprise Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (EAA) is hiring a Journey Owner to continue the development of a digital dashboard for the Chief Digital Office. This dashboard will track metrics across the entire enterprise that will help drive U.S. Bank towards digital excellence. As Journey Owner, you are responsible for delivering upon the vision for the dashboard, working closely with our Enterprise Data Governance and Technology & Operations Services teams. This position falls within the broader Digital Insights, Reporting and Analytics team reporting to the Data Analytics Director.

The applicant will feel at ease querying databases, integrating data from multiple/disparate sources, conducting sophisticated quantitative analyses and presenting their findings as clear, actionable insights and recommendations that enable revenue growth, channel adoption and customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional who is passionate about data and data visualization. They must have strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to understand the business goals/needs and be committed to delivering data driven insights that lead to actionable recommendations.

Core Job Responsibilities: Leading the assigned agile team responsible for implementing the Digital Dashboard Determining enhancements, epics and stories for the cross-functional team Providing the agile team with day to day direction and a long-term road map Leading roadmap and other planning sessions that translate to quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) Working through issues and roadblocks, escalating as necessary Working effectively with, Data Governance, IT and risk partners to drive initiatives to completion and remove blockers Delivery of reporting via modern BI tools, specifically Power BI but alternatively Tableau Documenting calculations, code, and adhering to data management principles Validating and testing data assets of others in the form of peer review Identify and lead the remediation of key data quality issues impacting the dashboard Participate in the buildout of the reporting and technology infrastructure required to support the delivery of insights and reporting. Researches data assets from multiple disparate sources, applies various technologies to find and move data assets for analysis, development of metrics, reports, and statistics. Play an active role with TOS engineers to ensure critical data is available, with quality in the proper platforms with clear SLAs.

Basic Qualifications Master's degree in data and technology management, or equivalent work experience Ten or more years of experience in data management and business intelligence in the financial services industry

Preferred Skills/Experience Experience with programming languages such as SQL, R, Python 3 plus years relevant experience in analysis, reporting and data visualization Experience with at least 1 modern visualization tool (ex. Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy 10, Domo) Experience leveraging tools for basic last mile ETL and data wrangling tools such as Alteryx, WebFocus Data Migrator, Talend Strong knowledge of data quality principles and best practices Extensive experience with standard relational databases (SQL Server, Teradata, DB2, Postgres) Working knowledge of Hadoop (HDFS) with ability to query Hive; exposure to Druid a plus Expert in analytic storytelling and presentation, including PowerPoint and other presentation tools Demonstrated project management and organization skills
