Job Description

Responsible for coaching teams to adopt and implement Agile practices. Acts as a change agent who helps set the vision, show the way, and provide thought leadership on removing impediments to Agile success. Coaches and mentors sprint team resources at either the team and/or program levels, including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Technical Leads and executives to leverage Agile principles, engineering practices and frameworks to deliver high value business capabilities. Helps to coach the team on product management, design thinking, engineering culture, and DevOps. Serves as a subject matter expert on scaling Agile development, embraces servant leadership, understands engineering practices and serves as a role model for the team to model Agile behaviors and mindsets, which includes key mindset shifts in the journey to Agile. Designs, develops and facilitates training of Agile practices to assigned teams. Performs evaluations, and reviews of processes and methodologies. Identifies strengths and continuous improvement recommendations of existing processes.

The Digital Transformation Office is hiring an Agile Coach to lead a large group of cross functional teams. This Coach will be partnering with branch technology teams to improve the digital experience in our physical branch locations. They will work with teams and leaders to create a transformation strategy. They will also take the lead on cross product planning and daily communications. This is a combination of a strategic and hands on coaching engagement.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 15 or more years of experience in Information Technology environment

  • Seven or more years of experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and support tools

  • Five or more years of experience within an Agile solution environment working on large scale, multiple scrum team

  • Three or more years of experience leading Agile transformation

  • Agile or Professional Coaching certification, or equivalent work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Extensive experience with Agile engineering practices and techniques

  • Working knowledge of system development lifecycle (SDLC) and process change/improvement

  • Experience communicating with leadership (lead through influence)

  • Experience with Product transformations in a large enterprise

  • Portfolio / Program leadership experience
