Job DescriptionCustomer behavior has evolved and now more than ever, there are multiple modes of interaction between bankers / advisors and customers. This creates an increased expectation among our customers that the bank should know them and their banking needs as they move from one channel to the other and a need to keep the communications with the customers consistent and non-redundant. The foundation for this omni-channel and consistent customer banking experience is having a consolidated 360 degree view of our customers that captures their profile data, communication preferences and interaction history.
A US Bank customer can be a corporation, an individual, a small business to name a few. These customers pan across various lines of business and sometimes have many relationships with the bank. This creates a very siloed data set of customer information that resides in various areas within bank and leads to broken consumer experience. To solve for this, we are creating a central customer profile view that will help us understand our customers and their communication preferences better.
This role will be part of the Enterprise Platforms team in the bank and will be responsible for the following
Primarily responsible for creating a central customer view that captures their Profile data, Communications Preferences and Interaction History data.
Manage a team of 4 product managers responsible for the following
Central Customer Profile Data Central Customer Communication preferences including but not limited to (Phone, Express Consent, Address Preferences etc.) Capture the customers marketing, language and paperless preferences Capture the interaction history of all the communications sent to our customer Partner with key stakeholder to understand the full lifecycle of how customer data is created and used within the organization
Partner closely with strategy, analytics, governance and engineering and put a roadmap for the data pipeline
Develop a deep understanding of consumers of data within the bank, generate personas and value map of each
Develop and execute a product vision and roadmap commensurate with value targets for each of the personas
Implement strong measurement-focused team culture that ensures tight alignment of delivery with intended value and updates/changes plans when outcomes are not delivered
Develop a deep understanding of the overall data landscape in the organization and focus on efficiency, reliability and flexibility of the platform
Work across Lines of Businesses to come up with Cross Channel Data Adoption strategy
Closely work with Legal to make sure all data movement is adhering to the bank’s Data privacy and protection requirements
In addition this role will partner with key stakeholders and be an integral part of putting a strategy for creating an enterprise ID for the customer
