Job DescriptionGENERAL SUMMARY

Learning Partners are responsible for developing, implementing and driving learning strategies within their assigned business lines or business units that are aligned with current and future capability and skills needs. In this role as a Learning Partner Director, you will support learning strategy our digital, technology, and payments business lines. In this role, experience in digital and technology is important in order to employees have the skills and capabilities needed to drive business strategy. Learning Partners ensure a high-quality learning experience by leveraging a deep understanding of adult learning science, business acumen, maximizing learning technology, and a desire to deliver differential and dynamic solutions by translating organizational talent objectives into learning strategies.

Essential Functions: Interact and effectively manage relationships with Talent Consultants and senior leadership to create strategy and vision for the learning plan in complete alignment with business and talent priorities. Cultivate networks and establish proactive partnerships with stakeholders to manage current and future demands, consult on learning solutions that support talent strategies, and support business change and growth. Create and deliver external market insights, as well as qualitative and quantitative data to assigned business unit(s) to recognize trends and assess learning strategy effectiveness. Focus on developing consulting capabilities, positioning the broader learning organization as a strategic partner for business leaders and across the Human Resources function. Assess and manage risk while considering the objectives and goals of the business. Demonstrate high-levels of facilitation skills in consulting with the business, effectively addressing difficult situations with executive savvy; takes decisive and well-rounded action in high-pressure situations; solution focused to improve ineffective processes. Basic Qualifications/Specifications

Experience supporting digital and/or technology groups (engineers, product, and/or analysts.

Ability to have a deep understanding of adult learning principles, practices, and learning sciences particularly in the areas of instructional design, delivery, impact evaluation, and learning technology.

Facilitate and guide solutions to enable the business to achieve its strategic objectives through the development of talent.

Regarded as a learning expert for the assigned business(es). Work closely with peer group and broader organization to deliver excellence, while understanding the business, market trends, and emerging multi-industry themes.

Ability to interpret data to evaluate the effectiveness of training curricula, materials, and programs in light of business objectives and recommend action.

While highly collaborative in style, drives results with purpose, speed, and agility, delivering against business specific needs, while championing a broader One U.S. Bank approach.

Proven ability to make sense out of complex situations, have intellectual curiosity, outcome driven, calculated risk taking and courageous mindset.

Skilled at collaborating and influencing at all levels and not afraid to challenge the status quo.

Experience in providing work direction, coaching, and guidance to direct reports, other HR professionals and administrative staff, as applicable.
