Job Description U.S. Bank Corporate Payment Systems is seeking an accomplished and senior product manager to be responsible for creating a strategic vision and roadmap for the business unit’s B2B Payment strategy. The B2B Product Manager will design, develop, and implement the B2B Payments strategy for Corporate Payment Systems as well as assess validate and design new products, solutions, and partnerships.

Position Highlights

Create new acceptance solutions for Corporate Payments customers that help reduce electronic payment acceptance hurdles and increase automation.

Drive the development of work plans, gathering and generation of relevant data, driving analyses, and creating actionable recommendations.

Lead product strategy, business plan development, product enhancements, and partnership opportunities that of diversifying revenue and gaining an additional share of the market

Collaborate with cross-functional teams leading work streams (sales, production, design, technical teams, etc.) to provide short and long-term recommendations that are meant to drive pathways to growth.

Communicate highly complex strategic ideas and prioritize into actionable strategies to executive level audiences

Key Functions:

Championing the customer experience to help prioritize future investments in product development

Evaluates market trends, legal/regulatory climate, competitive products, and more.

Conducts research on product enhancements and new product offerings and presents findings and recommendations.

Create the product strategy and develop the product roadmap and key metrics to execute

Leverage customer and industry data to inform strategy

Manages the on-going research to track, monitor and analyze product performance

Reviews risk data related to product line(s) and ensures risks are effectively monitored and managed.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

10 or more years of product management experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

10+ yrs. experience within the financial services industry (preferable experience in Business to Business payments) industry demonstrating consistent growth in responsibilities and accomplishments.

Demonstrated problem-solving /decision-making skills with the ability to understand a complex product portfolio and identify pathways to growth

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to development, document, and explain the strategy to diverse audiences, both technology and business, from executives to staff.

Considerable knowledge of product development, product launch and implementation.

Proficient in competitive analysis and data analytics.
