Job Description

U.S. Bank is hiring! The HR Global Learning and Development team is adding a Global Learning & Development Governance and Policy Lead to the department. This role reports to an SVP – Senior Director of Learning Operations. The scope of the work within the team includes operational elements of learning, such as, Learning Management System (LMS) oversight, management of licensure, vendor management, training policies/procedures. This role is focused on audit activity related to the business of training. This individual will need to have in depth knowledge of audit procedures and experience working with auditors. In this role, you’ll be charged with understanding how businesses conduct their trainings and store policies/procedures. Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with GL&D leadership to enable the highest levels of compliance with global privacy laws and regulations regarding training data, processes, and strategy

  • Creation and curation of key L&D Data Governance standards, policies, and other key documentation to help increase L&D data fluency, maturity, and health

  • Assists in leading course data retention, and records and information management efforts for the global L&D Center of Excellence

  • Collaboration and partnership with HR Risk, Data Protection & Privacy, and Enterprise Data Governance teams to ensure alignment to key strategic requirements and initiatives

  • Develop and implement strong controls and/or processes to manage policy, procedures, and data storage for the enterprise training teams

  • Develop strong audit-readiness strategy to support businesses, legal, and internal structure to the highest business standards

Location: Preference for hybrid in Minneapolis, MN. Open to remote in other locations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • At least 10 years of experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling projects.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience with Audit, risk, and governance

  • Learning/Training background is a bonus

  • Skilled in policy, process review

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Demonstrated organizational and process management experience

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $108,545.00 - $127,700.00 - $140,470.00
