The Fixed Income & Capital Markets (“FICM”) group is recruiting for an experienced Financial Analyst. FICM is a product group within the Corporate & Commercial line of business and includes both fees/expenses and balance sheet. Product fees include foreign exchange, interest rate swaps, corporate bond revenue, syndication and other capital markets related revenue.
Core Responsibilities: Support Fixed Income & Capital Market Product group's reporting, forecasting and planning. This includes variance commentary, production incentive tracking and analysis, product fee support to the lines of business throughout the bank, supplemental reporting for Senior Management reviews and long-term forecast support for the bank’s 3-Year Forecast process. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with interacting with numerous groups and provide ad hoc reporting/analysis as requested.
The Financial Analyst will work with internal partners, such as: Treasury, back-office operations, Corporate Accounting and Incentive Compensation. The Financial Analyst will work closely with the senior leads and business manager of the 5 product lines within FICM: Derivatives Product Group, Loan Capital Markets Group, Foreign Exchange Group, Credit Fixed Income Group, and Municipal Products Group.
10 or more years of experience in financial analysis activities
Solid communication skills
Microsoft Excel and Hyperion Essbase expertise a plus
Superior knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Superior knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
Expert ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
Master's degree preferred
