Job Description

The Finance Director will be supporting our Chief Financial Officer Division (CFO). In this new role, you will provide critical support to our CFO while developing a best in class team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead a team supporting the CFO group's reporting, forecasting, and planning functions.

  • Manage all aspects of the P&L including high proficiency in forecasting and budget planning, accurate reporting of capital expenditures, communicating with executive level management, variance commentary, cost tracking and analysis, and supplemental reporting for senior management reviews.

  • Manages and develops a team of finance analysts.

  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvements in analysis and reporting.

  • Works closely with senior leadership and provides a high level of customer service.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience

  • 13 or more years of relevant financial management experience

  • Five or more years of management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Hyperion Essbase knowledge

  • Thorough understanding of US Bank’s capex processes

  • Superior knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures

  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

  • Expert ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data

  • Master's degree preferred

  • High level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office products

  • Executive presence and business acumen

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.
