Job DescriptionFocused on collecting, summarizing, and visualizing insights to support lending sales funnel optimization, segmentation, and personalization across digital Unsecured and Home Equity Sales. Will work across multiple lending teams and journeys to stay in alignment on what is being prioritized and delivered. Understands channel capabilities, and sources of digital traffic. Understands DIY (Digital Self-Serve) and DIT (Do-it-together) sales concepts.
Reports to Digital Sales analytics manager. Responsible for working on big data/analytics projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data, performs analysis, interprets results and develops actionable insights and recommendations for use across the company. Acquires and automates data extracts from multiple data sources in order to perform analysis. Data sources include Adobe, Salesforce, and internal U.S. Bank systems data. Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data in order to provide answers to business questions as well as provide visualizations and recommendations for action. Interprets data and analyze results using various statistical techniques and tools. Presents data and analysis in a clear and concise manner allowing the audience to quickly understand the results and recommendations so they activate upon them and make data driven decisions. Collaborate with various partners to provide a holistic view of the analysis. Measures and monitors results of applied recommendations and present adjustments. Ensures all data acquisition, sharing and results of applied recommendations are compliant with company standards.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as econometrics, computer science, engineering or applied mathematics, or equivalent work experience - Six to eight years of statistics or analytics experience
Preferred Qualifications - Expert user of advanced analytics tools & techniques to perform analysis and interpret data – some examples are: SQL, SAS, R, Python, Excel, Alteryx, Hadoop, etc. - Expert user of analytics data visualization tools such as Tableau - Expert in analytic storytelling and presentation, including PowerPoint and other presentation tools - Demonstrated project management and organization skills - Advanced Degree - Experience in financial services with knowledge of products, customers, transaction and interaction data, including source systems a big plus - Demonstrated understanding of statistical analyses methodologies - Demonstrated leadership duties - Ability to work and thrive in collaborative work environment as well as independently to drive results, team leadership a plus - Impeccable attention to detail, while being comfortable with data ambiguity - Proven track record of driving Analytics into actionable business outcomes - Demonstrated ability to influence change across a complex organization
